Shower showdown: one vs. two Pre-Surgery washes to stop infections

Summary
This study looks at whether showering once or twice with a special antiseptic soap before lumbar disc herniation surgery reduces the risk of surgical site infections. 86 participants will be randomly assigned to shower either the night before surgery or both the night before and the morning of surgery. The researchers will monitor for infections for 30 days after surgery.
