First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tested three different nerve blocks to see which one works best for pain after shoulder surgery. Forty adults having shoulder surgery received one of the blocks, and their pain was measured using a simple 0-to-100 scale. The goal was to find a block that controls pain well without causing common side effects like diaphragm weakness.
