First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looked at whether giving magnesium sulfate for 12 hours after childbirth is as effective as the usual 24 hours for preventing seizures in women with mild preeclampsia. Researchers enrolled 200 women and measured blood pressure, symptoms, and treatment duration. The goal was to see if shorter therapy could reduce drug exposure without affecting recovery.
