Summary
This study looked at whether giving the gout medication pegloticase over a shorter time is safe and works well for people with uncontrolled gout who are also taking methotrexate. About 191 adults took part. The main goal was to check for infusion reactions, and a key measure was whether uric acid levels stayed low for at least 80% of month 6.
