Scientists test faster brain training to fight memory loss
NCT ID NCT07366346
Summary
This study is testing if a shorter, 5-week virtual brain training program is just as good as the standard 8-week program for older adults with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Researchers want to see if the shorter version can still help improve memory, thinking, daily life, and mood while reducing stress for caregivers. About 100 participants will be randomly assigned to complete either the 5-week or 8-week program of weekly group sessions and take memory tests before, right after, and three months after training.
