Shockwave therapy may ease knee pain without rehab

Summary

This study compares focused shockwave therapy to standard physical rehabilitation for reducing pain in people with mild to moderate knee osteoarthritis. About 60 adults with grade I-III knee OA will be randomly assigned to receive either shockwave therapy alone or standard rehab. The main goal is to see which approach better reduces knee pain after 12 weeks.
