NCT ID NCT05007925
First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026
Summary
This study tested a device that uses sound waves to break up calcium buildup in the arteries below the knee in people with peripheral artery disease (PAD). 250 participants were treated, and the main goal was to see if the device could safely open blocked arteries without serious complications. The approach aims to improve blood flow and reduce the need for more invasive procedures.
