Summary
This study aims to better detect and prevent dangerous infections that patients can get while in the hospital, especially those resistant to antibiotics. Researchers will collect samples from 1,500 hospitalized adults to monitor for superbugs and build a national early-warning system. The goal is to strengthen infection control and protect patients from emerging threats.
