New study aims to improve Post-Surgery recovery checks for setswana speakers

NCT ID NCT07194369

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study will test whether a Setswana translation of a standard recovery questionnaire is accurate and easy to use for orthopaedic surgery patients. About 150 adults having planned surgery at a South African hospital will fill out the questionnaire before and after their operation. The goal is to make sure the tool works well for Setswana-speaking patients, helping doctors better understand their recovery.
