First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests sensorimotor psychotherapy, a body-oriented therapy, for people with personality disorders who experienced early childhood trauma. The therapy uses 12 group sessions to teach skills for regulating emotions and body responses. Researchers will compare it to standard treatment in 131 adults across five Dutch clinics, measuring changes in emotion regulation, body awareness, and PTSD symptoms.
