Summary
This study is testing if a weekly injection called semaglutide can help adults who are quitting smoking avoid gaining weight. Researchers want to see if the medication helps control appetite and food intake during the challenging period after stopping cigarettes. The trial will enroll about 200 adults who smoke, have overweight or obesity, and want to quit.
