Stroke study tests best sedation for clot removal

Summary

This study compares two types of general anesthesia during emergency clot removal for stroke patients. The goal is to see which method better maintains blood flow to the brain and improves recovery. About 90 adults with severe stroke will take part at two hospitals in Los Angeles.
