Summary

This study tests whether a liquid called silver diamine fluoride (SDF) can stop tooth decay in elderly people who live in long-term care homes. Sixty participants will either get SDF or a placebo, and their cavities will be checked after 6 and 12 months. The goal is to see if SDF is a practical, non-invasive way to improve oral health in seniors who have trouble brushing their teeth.
