First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study looks at the gut bacteria of 60 people with systemic sclerosis (a chronic autoimmune disease) and compares them to healthy volunteers. Researchers want to see how the bacteria change over 7 months and if these changes can help diagnose or treat the disease better. Participants provide stool samples, and healthy volunteers give just one sample.
