First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests a precise, high-dose radiation treatment called SBRT for prostate cancer, given in just 5 sessions instead of the usual 42-45. Researchers will follow 100 men with localized prostate cancer to see how well it controls the cancer and what side effects occur, using questionnaires to measure quality of life. The goal is to understand if this shorter treatment is both effective and tolerable over time.
