Massive 10,000-Person study launches to unlock secrets of aging and muscle loss
NCT ID NCT07205510
Summary
This large observational study aims to understand how age-related muscle loss (sarcopenia) interacts with metabolic diseases like diabetes to accelerate aging and increase risks of heart problems and death. Researchers will follow 10,000 adults over time, collecting health data, lifestyle information, and biological samples to identify patterns and risk factors. The goal is to develop better methods for early detection and prevention strategies to help people maintain health as they age.
