NCT ID NCT03553602
First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tested a treatment for men whose prostate cancer came back after earlier radiation therapy. The approach combined temporary radioactive implants placed directly into the prostate, external radiation to the pelvis and lymph nodes, and six months of hormone-blocking medications. The goal was to see if this combination could control the cancer while limiting side effects. Only 3 participants were enrolled before the study was stopped early.
