New hope for stubborn high blood pressure: experimental drug SAL0140 enters phase 2 trial

Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called SAL0140 in people whose high blood pressure remains high despite current treatments. About 252 adults aged 18-75 with uncontrolled hypertension will receive either the drug or a placebo for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if SAL0140 safely lowers blood pressure more than a placebo.
