Summary

This study tested a medicine called SAGE-547 given as a 60-hour IV drip to women with moderate or severe postpartum depression. 108 women took part. The goal was to see if it could quickly reduce depression symptoms compared to a placebo. Results showed improvement in depression scores at 60 hours and at 30 days.
