Summary
This study looks at how pretzels made with safflower oil and soy affect energy use in postmenopausal women who are overweight and have metabolic syndrome. Twenty women will eat different pretzels for one month each to see how their bodies digest them. The goal is to learn if these snack ingredients can help prevent diseases like obesity and cancer.
