Sabroxy™ shows promise for mild memory loss in small trial
NCT ID NCT07189754
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether Sabroxy™, a supplement made from the bark of the Oroxylum indicum tree, can improve memory and thinking in adults aged 60 to 85 with mild cognitive concerns. About 70 participants took either Sabroxy™ or a placebo twice daily for 12 weeks. Researchers measured changes in cognitive tests and blood levels of a brain-health protein called BDNF. The goal is to see if this natural extract can safely support brain function in aging adults.

Active substance
Sabroxy™ (Oroxylum indicum extract)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could point toward a natural supplement to help older adults with mild memory problems think more clearly.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage study with only 70 participants. The results may not apply to everyone, and the supplement might not work better than a placebo.
