First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a special optical film called S.T.O.P®KIT that attaches to eyeglasses. The goal is to slow down the growth of the eye in children aged 6 to 10 with mild farsightedness, which may help prevent nearsightedness later. 180 children will be split into two groups: one gets the special glasses, the other gets regular check-ups. The study will measure changes in eye length and vision over 12 months.
