First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study explores how the type of surface you run on (like asphalt, trail, or mountain) and your training load are linked to patellofemoral pain (a common knee pain) in recreational runners. Researchers will survey 126 runners about their running habits, knee pain, and other factors. The goal is to identify which factors increase the risk of knee pain and help develop better prevention strategies.
