First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests whether repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) can reduce nerve pain caused by oxaliplatin chemotherapy in cancer patients. About 56 people with stage I-IV cancer and moderate to severe nerve symptoms will receive either real rTMS, a placebo, or no treatment. The goal is to see if the magnetic pulses can change brain activity and improve pain and discomfort.
