NCT ID NCT03918837
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested a treatment called repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). 30 adults with OCD received either real or fake (placebo) rTMS to see if it changes blood flow in a brain area linked to OCD. The goal was to understand how rTMS works, not to cure the condition.
