First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tested an inhaled medication called RT234 in 14 adults with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a condition where high blood pressure in the lungs makes it hard to breathe. The goal was to see if the drug could lower lung blood pressure and improve blood flow. Participants received increasing doses during a heart catheterization procedure, and researchers monitored side effects and drug levels in the blood.
