First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study will track 1,000 adults aged 60 and older who are hospitalized in Vietnam with breathing problems or worsening heart/lung conditions. Researchers want to find out how many of these cases are caused by RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) and which types of the virus are involved. The goal is to better understand the role of RSV in severe illness among older adults.
