Scientists reprogram Patient's own fat cells to fight deadly pancreatic cancer
NCT ID NCT06861452
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new personalized treatment called RR001 for people with locally advanced pancreatic cancer. Doctors take a patient's own fat cells, genetically modify them to attack cancer, and give them back after chemotherapy. The main goals are to see if this combined approach is safe and if it can shrink tumors enough to make surgery possible.
