First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study offers routine and rapid syphilis testing to pregnant women who come to the emergency room or obstetrical triage without having had prenatal care or a syphilis test during their pregnancy. The goal is to increase the number of women who get full treatment and ensure both mother and baby receive proper follow-up care. Researchers will also look at factors like poverty and insurance that affect whether treatment is completed.
