NCT ID NCT06833515
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at 168 adults with a silent tooth infection (asymptomatic apical periodontitis) to see if different root canal shaping tools affect pain after the procedure. Participants received one of four shaping methods, including using a single file or combining files. Their pain was measured using a visual scale right after treatment and three days later. The goal was to find which approach causes the least discomfort.
