First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether making the tip of a root canal wider or using different taper sizes helps the tooth heal better and causes less pain afterward. Researchers will treat 270 adults with infected, dead nerves in their lower back teeth. Participants will get one of three root canal techniques, and their healing and pain will be tracked for up to a year.
