NCT ID NCT07301008
First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether taking rimegepant before a known trigger—like exercise, alcohol, or stress—can prevent a migraine from starting. About 60 adults with predictable triggers will take the drug ahead of planned activities and report if a headache occurs within 24 hours. The goal is to see if preemptive treatment reduces the need for rescue medication and eases migraine burden.
