New combo therapy targets Hard-to-Treat cancers

Summary
This early-phase trial studies the safety and best dose of two drugs—riluzole and sorafenib—given together to adults with advanced solid tumors or melanoma that has spread and is hard to treat. The goal is to see if the combination can slow or stop tumor growth. About 35 participants will take part to find the highest safe dose and monitor side effects.
