Summary
This study tested whether rifaximin, a medicine for gut issues, could reduce stomach pain, bloating, and diarrhea caused by pertuzumab-based chemotherapy in people with early-stage HER2-positive breast cancer. The goal was to help patients complete their cancer treatment without delays or dose reductions. The trial was stopped early, so results are limited.
