First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looked at whether combining rhythmic auditory stimulation (like a steady beat) with functional electrical stimulation (mild electrical pulses to muscles) can improve walking in children with hemiparesis (weakness on one side of the body). Sixty children aged 6 to 10 took part. The goal was to see if this combination helps with step length and hip movement.
