Can growth hormone ease knee arthritis? new study seeks answers

Summary

This study tests whether daily injections of recombinant human growth hormone (rHGH) are practical for people with knee osteoarthritis. About 34 adults aged 18-65 with knee OA for over 6 months will self-inject either rHGH or a placebo for 6 weeks. Researchers will check if participants stick with the injections and measure changes in knee strength, range of motion, and pain.
