First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests if a new drug called PLG0206 can stop infections from coming back in people who have had a knee replacement and need surgery to treat an infection. About 240 adults will get either PLG0206 or a placebo during their surgery, along with standard care. Researchers will track them for a year to see if the drug helps prevent the infection from returning.
