Summary
This study tests a remotely delivered 8-week program called ReStoreD for couples where one partner has had a stroke. The program teaches goal-setting, communication, and positive thinking skills to reduce anxiety and depression. Researchers will enroll 400 couples to see if the program improves emotional well-being and resilience.
What this could mean

Active substance
ReStoreD behavioral intervention (goal-setting, communication strategies, positive psychology activities)
What this could lead to
If successful, this program could help couples better cope emotionally after a stroke, reducing anxiety and depression and improving quality of life.
What could go wrong
This is a single study with 400 participants, and results may not apply to all couples. The intervention is behavioral, so benefits depend on active participation and may vary.
