First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This quality improvement study tests a digital tool (Respiratory Knowledge Portal) that gives ICU teams real-time feedback on ventilator settings and patient data. The goal is to help staff follow best practices, reduce ventilator-associated events, and improve outcomes for the 875 patients on breathing machines. The study does not test a new drug or treatment, but rather a way to improve care delivery.
