Summary
This study tested whether a set of breathing exercises and devices (PowerBreathe and Therosold PEP) could improve lung function in 60 elderly patients (over 65) with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Participants were split into two groups to compare different training protocols. The researchers measured changes in breathing strength and lung capacity using ultrasound and spirometry tests.
