NCT ID NCT07191353

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a weekly dose of everolimus (a rapamycin-like drug), resistance training, or both can help build bone and muscle in women aged 60-75 who have lower bone density but not full osteoporosis. About 148 women will be randomly assigned to take the drug, a placebo, or combine either with strength training three times a week. The goal is to find a way to prevent bone loss and reduce fracture risk without needing lifelong medication.
