First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a whole-body resistance training program could improve blood vessel function and muscle strength in postmenopausal women. 32 women aged 55-70 who were at least one year past menopause took part. The goal was to see if regular strength exercises could help counter the increased heart disease risk and muscle loss that often come after menopause.
