First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether lowering high parathyroid hormone levels can help protect bone density in people with advanced chronic kidney disease. About 70 adults aged 50 and older with kidney failure not on dialysis will be assigned to different treatment targets for their hormone levels.
