New study: simple running tweaks may ease Runner's knee
NCT ID NCT07535866
First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested two remote running programs for runners with patellofemoral pain (runner's knee). One group increased their step rate and reduced running load, another only reduced load, and a third continued as usual. Over 4 weeks, researchers tracked pain, function, and running data to see which approach worked best. The goal was to find simple, at-home ways to reduce knee pain and improve running comfort.
