Heart patients may go home same day as surgery thanks to smart monitoring
NCT ID NCT06602609
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether using remote monitoring devices after a heart valve procedure (TAVI) allows patients to safely go home the same day instead of staying in the hospital. 216 adults who are eligible for same-day discharge will be randomly assigned to either standard care or a remote monitoring program. The goal is to see if remote monitoring reduces hospital stays and complications within 30 days.
