Knee replacement recovery: skip the hospital trip?
NCT ID NCT07003932
First seen May 22, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether people who have knee replacement surgery can recover just as well with remote monitoring and video calls instead of routine in-person check-ups. About 140 adults aged 50 and older will be randomly assigned to either standard follow-up visits or a remote group that uses a web app to report symptoms. The goal is to see if remote care is safe, cost-effective, and satisfying for patients.
