NCT ID NCT07531394
First seen May 15, 2026 ยท Last updated May 15, 2026
Summary
This study tests a treatment called remote ischemic conditioning (RIC) for people who have heart injury after a stroke. RIC involves using a blood pressure cuff on the arm to briefly restrict blood flow, which may protect the heart and brain. The trial will include 580 adults and compare RIC to a fake procedure, given twice daily for 14 days, with a 3-month follow-up to see if it reduces serious heart and brain events.
