Summary

This study tests a safe, non-invasive therapy that uses gentle pressure cuffs on the upper arms to improve sleep and mood in people who have trouble sleeping after a stroke. The treatment works by briefly restricting and then restoring blood flow to the arms, which may help the brain recover. The study will enroll 40 adults aged 18-80 who have had an ischemic stroke and suffer from chronic insomnia.
