Can your phone be your personal trainer? study tests remote workouts for heart disease risk

NCT ID NCT06931470

Summary

This study is testing whether different remote exercise programs—using a fitness app, live video sessions, or in-person training—can help people at risk for heart disease become more active. Researchers want to see which approach people find easiest to stick with and if it improves their fitness and heart health markers. About 30 adults who aren't currently meeting exercise guidelines will try one of the programs for 12 weeks.
