First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This pilot study will test whether a live, supervised exercise program done at home via video is feasible and helpful for World Trade Center responders who have had prostate cancer. Forty participants will be randomly assigned to either the 16-week exercise program or a waitlist. The study aims to see if the program improves physical function, activity levels, and quality of life.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide an accessible way to improve physical function and quality of life for WTC responders with prostate cancer.
